Over the last three days of trading, key tech stocks such as FaceBook, Apple, Amazon, Google, and Netflix have dipped in value, following several years of unrelenting growth.

Why? We try to look at what might be behind this drop, and we ask if it’s a one off, or if it’s the beginning of the end for Silicon Valley’s domination of the US stock markets.

Finally, we look at who is safe. Are hardware companies like Apple safe because they are less reliant on advertising than the likes of FaceBook and Google? Is Netflix safe because of its subscription model?
